In early summer, whether you’ve opted for a Traditional CSA Full or Half Share or joined the Annual CSA Buying Club, we typically include more leafy greens, spring roots, and early alliums like scallions. As temps increase and days get longer, we’ll be harvesting tomatoes, summer squash, peppers, and more. Heading into fall, it's all about hardy greens, root veggies, and winter squash. These are just a few examples.
As Mother Nature is in charge and farming can be unpredictable, there are no guarantees. However, we can promise to plan a diverse harvest, employ transparent growing practices, ensure the highest quality produce, and never compromise our regenerative growing practices. Rest assured, our experienced team will work diligently to bring you all of your seasonal favorites.
It all depends on the size of your Share. If you have a large family, we suggest purchasing a Traditional CSA Full Share or joining our Annual CSA Buying Club.
If you select a Traditional CSA Full or Half Share, our team will curate your box. Members tell us they appreciate the mystery and fun of unboxing their Shares and discovering favorite veggies and a few surprises! If you’d like to purchase additional items, feel free to shop our Online Store and grab the extra goodies when you pick up your Share. If you prefer to decide what goes in your box, join our Annual CSA Buying Club!
It depends on how much you cook and eat at home. Generally, a full Share feeds two veggie-loving adults who enjoy using fresh produce or a family of four (two adults and two small children). You may want to consider how often you cook at home, if you love using seasonal vegetables or if you're just getting into them, or if you're feeding little ones or growing teens. Still unsure? Give us a buzz and let's talk.
We’ve got you covered! Trying new vegetables is a highlight of the CSA experience. Each week, you’ll receive our newsletter that details Traditional CSA inclusions, tips on storing vegetables, and recipes to help you use the items in your Share. You can also learn about new veggies using your complimentary membership in the Endless Roots Farm CSA Academy, a private Facebook group.
You have a couple of options:
1. Ask a friend to pick up your Share (no need to let us know).
2. Put your Share on hold. Pick up a double haul upon your return or switch your pick-up day to another location (please email us by 5:00 p.m. Friday the week before your switch). As we harvest a precise number of Shares, it doesn't allow us to accommodate last-minute switches (sorry!).
3. If you’re a member of our Annual CSA Buying Club, simply refrain from ordering if you plan to be out of town.
Absolutely. For both temporary and permanent location switches, we ask Traditional CSA Members to give us notice via email one week in advance. Annual CSA Buying Club Members may choose any pick-up location each time you place an order.
Sure thing! You don’t even need to let us know. Kindly give the person all the information they need to ensure the pick-up goes smoothly.
We understand that life happens. If you anticipate missing your pick-up time, please call or text Liz at 570-687-4311 as soon as possible. We’d be happy to hold your order for up to 48 hours and arrange a pick-up at the farm. Please note, there is no pick-up on Sundays. If you are truly unable to pick up your Share or find someone else who can grab it for you, your Share will be donated.
Although we empathize and understand that a CSA might not be for everyone, your Membership is already underway and we’ve carefully planned our harvest to yield your Share of delicious, fresh produce. We’d be happy to discuss your experience and find ways in which you can continue to enjoy the harvest, share it with friends and family, or donate the balance of your Share to those in need. With sincere apologies, at this time, refunds are not available.
